Apothic Dark Limited Release 2013 Red Wine

Apothic Dark Limited Release 2013 Red Wine, $6.99-$12.99, 87+ points, poured as black as the label except near the clear wine ring and leggy glass bowl where it showed a shiraz purple/red.
Aromatic cedar, black currant, and a hint of coffee were good and interesting.
Full-bodied with fair acidity, mild to moderate tannins, silky texture (similar to and NEARLY as syrupy as other Apothic red wines I've tasted), with good flavors of chocolate, blackberries, and black licorice.
Finished well on the trailing palate with a hint of mint, spice, and the 13.5% alcohol.
Varietals were Petite Sirah, Teroldego, and Merlot.
