Actum 2013 Sauvignon Blanc (Spain)

Actum 2013 Sauvignon Blanc (Spain), less than $10, 85 points, appeared a light copper color in contrast to the 2013 Chilensis SB which was a light brass color, probably due to Actum's cork and the resulting oxidation compared to Chilensis' twist-off cap.
Aromas of honeysuckle and apple were quite shy and non-descript.
The light body with good acidity carried rather dull apple, vanilla, and white pepper flavors, though the finish accentuated those flavors adding a touch of melon rind, quince, and a restrained 12% alcohol which made for a juicy quality.
Paired fine with my fried North Atlantic cod loin.
