Château Beauchene Premier Terroir 2015 Côtes du Rhône Red Wine, $22.49-$24.99, 90 points, poured a blood red grading ruby and drifting into a light red penumbra, a broad clear meniscus, and thin copious legs.
Aromatic smoky perfumed blackberries, cedar, cinnamon, and a floral vibe were amazing.
Nearing full-bodied status, this Côtes du Rhône Red Wine was on the rounder/smoother side of a young wine with good acidity, a supportive underlayment of tannin, and an earthy red fruit flavor profile.
Finished long on pepper spices, fennel, mint, and a well-balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Paired well with our meat-lovers pizza.
