Château Smith Haut Lafitte Pessac-Léognan Grand Cru Classé 2015 Bordeaux Red Wine

Château Smith Haut Lafitte Pessac-Léognan Grand Cru Classé 2015 Bordeaux Red Wine, $99.02-$116.49, 97 points, poured core black grading to a deep purple/red with a bleeding meniscus and dense copious stained legs.
Aromatic sweet underbrush, toasty blackberry pie, and hints of mulling-spice were outstanding.
Full-bodied red wine, well balanced, exceptional acidity, firm grainy tannins, and rich enduring flavors reflective of the aromas managed to beguile.
Finished long on the trailing palate, pepper spiciness, and a well-balanced warm 14.5% alcohol.
Paired well with various cuisine.
Varietals were 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot.
