Domaine Bousquet Mendoza, Argentina, 2012 Malbec

Domaine Bousquet Mendoza, Argentina, 2012 Malbec, $10.99-$13.99, 85 points, poured deep purple/reds with a slight copper tint toward the thin clear meniscus and copious fat stained legs.
Smells of over-ripe mulberry, a bit of the barnyard, and a whiff of black licorice were passable.
Full-bodied red wine, a bit chalky, with fair acidity and mellow tannins delivered more black fruit flavors than the aromas would have indicated, but nuanced licorice, plum, and cooking herbs were apparent.
Finished tart and tangy with a touch of pepper spices and a balanced 14% alcohol.
Paired okay with my chili soft tacos.
