Antigal Winery-Estate, Mendoza, "Uno" 2019 Malbec, $12.74-$18.99, 87 points, poured deep and grading ruby reds with a clear meniscus and copious stained legs.
Aromas of perfumed black fruit with notes of mulberry and a hint of espresso were straightforward and a bit bland.
This Malbec was typically full-bodied, showed fair acidity, a supportive underlayment of tannin, and flavors reflective of the nose with a bit of astringency and good spiciness towards late palate.
Finished fair on a well-balanced 13.9% alcohol.
Paired okay with my cheeseburgers.
