Ca' Rome Romano Marengo DOCG 2007 Barbaresco, $65.44-$76.99, 92+ points, poured bright ruby, but a thin orange ring preceded the obligatory transparent rim.
The aroma was a rich red cherry with hints of cinnamon, earth, and cedar.
Having a moderately smooth medium body with good acidity and tight enduring tannin, this Barbaresco carried tart pomegranate and rich red cherry flavors with just a hint of sweet tobacco.
Finished long with tart notes, the 14% alcohol, and white pepper spice.
This wine is clean, crisp. lively, and still tastes young; will most likely cellar for years to come.

Love that you can fully see the 'Greek Key' on that white t-shirt :)
