Groth Oakville-Napa Valley 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, $49.29-$62.99, 94 points, poured almost black at the core trending deep purple/red toward the transparent rim and the leggy glass wall.
The bouquet was typically beautiful, with sweet cedar, lilac, mocha, and black cherry notes that just puts to shame even most Bordeaux red wines I've had.
Full bodied with good acidity, racy tannins that quicken and strengthen the velvety smooth flavors of plums, violets, cola, black tea, and black cherry.
Finished strong on a trailing palate, with mint, licorice, cherry cordial, tobacco, chipotle, and a well integrated 14.5% alcohol.

A wine on your blog that I've actually tasted. And I have to agree with your review, it's a great Cab, not over-bearingly Californian.
