Les Jardins Du Roy 2014 Sancerre, $23.99-$25.99, 91+ points, poured a pale gold color trending slightly gray toward the glass shallows.
Tangerine highlights a citrusy aroma with just a hint of lilac, peach, and sea breezes.
Light-bodied, crisp, appropriately acidic, limestone minerality, and bright flavors of tropical fruit, tangerine, and white pepper.
Finished fine on the trailing palate and a well integrated 12.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my Skipjack tuna salad and lentil/rosemary crackers (drink cold to cool).
Bought at Whole Foods of Bedford, NH.

I'm almost always impressed with French wine-making, it's the purity, the cleanness of the whites especially!
