Roth Alexander Valley 2013 Sauvignon Blanc,
$7.99-$14.99, 91 points, poured a rich golden color.
First whiff was lemony, but shy floral aromas followed.
Light-bodied, good acidity, and rather smooth up front citrus flavors were good and mellow while restrained melon notes followed a nondescript honeysuckle.
Finished stylishly on white pepper and ginger with a well-integrated 14.1% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my butter sautéed Sea scallops.
