Château Graves de Pez Saint-Estèphe 2010 Bordeaux Red Wine, $25.49-$29.99, 91 points, was a lovely purple/red trending rosewood red toward the broad clear wine ring.
Aromatic black currant, fresh laundered linen, and fennel were pleasant.
Medium-plus body, good acidity, what is often described as sweet layered tannin (nothing bitter about these), and flavors of plum, boysenberry, mint, and anise were excellent
Finished fine on a well-balanced 13.5% alcohol, mild pepper notes, and the trailing palate.
Varietals were 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot.
How fortunate are those of us which have partaken (and will) of the Bordeaux wines from the 2009 and 2010 vintages!
