Albet i Noya 2015 Xarel-Lo (Penedès Spain), $11.99, 86 points, poured a pale brass color at the core, but quickly trended water clear.
This Xarel-Lo, a novel wine for me, was surprisingly grape-like; smelled like white grapes with hints of flowers and oranges, tasted like delicate white grapes with hints of lime and melon rind, but the 13% alcohol tended to dominate the wine.
Bright, crisp, acidic, and easy to drink, the Albet i Noya Xarel-Lo paired well with my warm cheese croissants.
I bought this wine at the Whole Foods of Bedford.

Made from organic grapes, but not made organically...otherwise it'd smell like poo :)
