Cecchi La Mora Maremma Toscana 2014 Vermentino, $13.99-$15.99, 88 points, was a straw yellow color.
Bright melon/grapy aromas with a floral hint were rather straight-forward.
Light-bodied with mouth-watering acidity managed good flavors of tart lemon, melon rind, a hint of orange peel, and a floral vibe with a limestoniness.
Finished fine on the trailing palate with a hint of ginger and an unobtrusive 12.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my Maine raw oysters with peri-peri and fresh squeezed lemon.
