Hunt And Harvest Napa Valley 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, $16.14-$21.99, 89 points, poured opaque trending a deep ruby red toward the clear wine ring and lightly draped bowl.
Aromas of black currant and cedar with a hint of sandalwood were okay.
Medium to medium-plus body with good acidity, mellow supportive tannin managed flavors of anise, coffee, plum, and flavors that mirrored the aromas.
Finished well on a blackberry liqueur, the trailing palate, mild warm spices, and a respectable 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with our Texas burgers.
