Hedges C.M.S Columbia Valley, Washington 2018 Chardonnay

Hedges C.M.S Columbia Valley, Washington 2018 Chardonnay, $12 74-$16.99, 87 points, was a medium brass color with yellow highlights and becoming clear toward the rim.
Aromatic notes of apple and minerality with whispers of pome blossoms were clean and fresh.
Medium-bodied dry white wine with hints of anise and ginger complementing flavors of apple, caramel, and vanilla were quite good.
Finished a bit short on the trailing palate and a balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Paired okay with my Gulf of Maine lobster salad, but once again (Chardonnay) was a delight with my Baklava.
Varietals were 99% Chardonnay, 0.5% Sauvignon Blanc, and 0.5% Marsanne.

  1. Don't think I have ever had a CH from Washington. Also don't think I have ever eaten Baklava two nights in a row.
