Smoking Loon 2010 Old Vine Zinfandel, $8.49-$12.99, 86 points, has a dark ruby color.The nose is cooking spice, a hint of cedar, and just a touch of funk that dissipates with air.
A medium-plus body has fair acidity and moderate tannin which carry the primary flavors of plum and tart young mulberry.
Smoking Loon 2010 Old Vine Zinfandel has a fair finish with some spice and almost unnoticeable alcohol (13.9%).
