Redolent smells of warm wild blackberries, roses, and a hint of mint were excellent.
Medium-plus body carried good acidity and moderate to intensifying tannins toward the long finish.
Flavors of wild briar black fruit, licorice, plum wine, and warm spices began the silky early palate which morphed rougher and hotter on the late palate and long finish due to its 15.2% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with our bacon pizza.
