Enzo Boglietti Boiolo 2012 Barolo (DOCG)

Enzo Boglietti Boiolo 2012 Barolo (DOCG), $41.64-$75.99, 94 points, poured a bright ruby grading orange/red toward the broad clear wine ring and heavily tear laden glass bowl.
Aromatic black cherry cordial, flowers, and smoky savory notes were outstanding.
Full-bodied (dry) with mouthwatering acidity and taut, fine, and grainy tannins supported shifting flavors of violets, cherry cola, appropriate oak notes, and hints of bourbon.
Finished long and spicy with the lingering palate, pomegranate, and a significant 14% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my grass-fed Aussie rib eye.
