Patient Cottat Anciennes Vignes (Old Vines) 2017 Sancerre, $18.69-$21.99, 90 points, poured a light brass color clearing quickly toward the glass shallows.
Aromas were soft, but lovely, pome blossoms nuanced with sweet hay.
Light-bodied showed mouthwatering acidity that pounced with intense flavors of minerality, ginger, spearmint, and lemon zest which carried deep into the long finessed finish anointed with a balanced 12.5% alcohol.
Paired fine with my Yellowfin tuna salad, but better with my Baklava dessert.
