To Drink Or Not To Drink Bordeaux Red Wine Vintage 2015?
Definitely 20 years too young, but some say that those fruit-forward wine lovers shouldn't hesitate to drink 'Right-bank' (Merlot based) Saint-Émilion, Pomerol, and Fronsac red wines now.
Below (before the 2015 Château Monbousquet) I've tasted five value 2015 Bordeaux red wines, and I was impressed by the lowly $5-$18 Bordeaux red wines; it's oft said that in a great vintage, lesser Bordeaux wines tend to be rewarding.
Well, I have no intention of drinking most of these wines for years to come, but if I have more than one bottle of the same wine, all bets are off.
After all, the 'more' fortunate among us get to taste these wines out of the barrel.
