Château Des Gravettes Graves Grand Vin 2015 Bordeaux Red Wine, $9.99-$19.99, 89 points, poured a bright garnet red with a very broad clear meniscus and stained hanging legs.
Aromas of plums, toasty black currants, and licorice with a faint sour note were okay.
Firm and brut dry overwhelmed this full-bodied red wine, but through that 'fog' were good flavors of black fruit, blackberry liqueur, and licorice.
Finished long and earthy with a hot alcohol (14%) inspirited pepper spiciness.
