Vierti Giovanni Piemonte 2010 Chardonnay, $14.53-$18.99, 91 points, based upon a sheer delicious factor, though probably not complex enough to warrant such a high score, and a little over reaction to my disappointment with the last Italian Chardonnay I tasted, and its poor QPR showing, this Vierti Giovanni Piemonte 2010 Chardonnay is more acidic, more focused, with aromas of Honey suckle, Lychee, and lemon, all of which are gently carried onto the palate, but finishing on an accelerating spice, and mellowing with the taste of olive-oil and paprika.
The color is a light gold, and this Chardonnay wine is worth its weight in gold to me.
