The aroma of cinnamon, clove, cedar, and black cherry, though pleasant has a hint of sour plum and coffee-mocha.
Near full bodied, rich and succulent with bright acidity and firm tannin makes for a solid backbone that bodes well for aging.
Black cherry, pomegranate, licorice, and plum notes are nearly bested by the long spicy finish with a hint of heat (14% alcohol) and eucalyptus.
