Sean Minor Carneros 2009 Pinot Noir, $12.74-$16.99, 89 points, appears dark ruby trending pomegranate red toward the clear rim.
A subtle earthy and floral red cherry aroma continues to intensify and evolve.
Having a medium-plus body, a moderately smooth texture with good acidity, and surprisingly firm tannin, this Pinot Noir has a touch of cola on a slightly cherry-syrup-like fruit.
Ends nicely with a touch of heat (14.5%alcohol) and plenty of spice on the fair finish.
