Campo Viejo Rioja Reserva 2006 Red Wine

Campo Viejo Rioja Reserva 2006 Red Wine, $9.99-$13.99, 89 points, poured a deep pomegranate red with an infringing orange hue up to the clear rim.
Strong fragrance of chocolate, toast, and sweet red cherry on the nose dominated and paralleled the flavor profile.
A near smooth full body of good acidity and moderate tannin with other flavors of licorice and strawberry carried deep into a good finish with coffee notes, spice, and a well integrated 13.5% alcohol.
Varietals are 85% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano, and 5% Mazuelo.
