Due Torri Grave Friuli D.O.C. 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon, $10.80-$14.40, 86 points, appeared deep ruby with a thin clear rim and a bright orange/red between.
Toasty plum with hints of black currant on the nose were pleasant.
The soft medium-plus bodied carried fair acidity with an undercurrent of tannin.
Flavors faithfully follow the nose with some intense black grape notes.
Finished without noticing the 12% alcohol, and gentle spice notes.
I bought this wine at the Londonderry Hannaford's Supermarket.
