Anne Amie (Willamette Valley, Oregon) 2014 Pinot Noir, $16.99-$24.99, 89 points, poured maroon grading a light candy-apple red with a broad clear wine ring.
Smells were earthy with a faint floral vibe.
Medium-bodied with fair acidity and a straight forward fruity red cherry flavor profile.
The tempo of this easy-drinking pleasant Pinot Noir continued through the fair finish, but with a kick@$$ afterburner of eucalyptus, warm spices, and a sweet-spot 13.4% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my preholiday-like turkey dinner.
