Banfi Castello 2015 Rosso di Montalcino (DOC)

Banfi Castello 2015 Rosso di Montalcino (DOC), $16.14-$20.99, 90 points, poured an opaque ruby red with a broad clear rim and gentle waves clinging to the glass wall.
The aromas, though subtle were fragrant roses and cherry fruit.
Medium-bodied with bright acidity and fine grainy tannins correctly supported the floral tea and red cherry flavors.
Finished with nuanced mint notes, the fading tea and cherry, and a seemingly under-rated 13.5% alcohol.
Paired well with my pepper-jack cheese burgers.
You'll have a challenging time finding a better red table wine at the price I paid for this 'baby' Montalcino.
