Cantalici 2012 Chianti Classico (DOCG)

Cantalici 2012 Chianti Classico (DOCG),
$12.74-$29.99, 90 points, was an opaque ruby red with a broad clear rim and moderately fat legs.
Aromatic earth, flowers, and cherry fruit were outstanding.
Medium-bodied with good acidity and grainy supportive tannins carried flavors reflective of the aromas plus cola and tea notes.
Finished on the trailing palate, spicy pepper, pomegranate, and an appropriate 14% alcohol.
Paired well with our burgers and fries.
Another great Quality/Price/Ratio (QPR) red wine fit especially for your Italian cuisine; you don't have to spend the big bucks to purchase great wines.
