Castelli Martinozzi 2016 Rosso di Montalcino

Castelli Martinozzi 2016 Rosso di Montalcino,  $10.49-$29.99, 91 points, poured a bright ruby red with a broad clear rim and light glass draping.
Truffles, flowers, and cherry fruit on the nose were outstanding.
Medium-bodied with typically good food busting acids and knife-edged supportive tannins managed apropos flavors of premium Sangiovese grape-specific cherry fruit, savory herbs, and black tea.
Finished long on spice, tea, and finessed oak notes with a comfortable 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my mild chili and sweat Italian sausage.
