Rutherford Ranch Napa Valley 2014 Chardonnay, $15.29-$17.99, 89 points, poured a medium straw yellow color.
Aromas of apples, honeysuckle, and Chardonnay-specific grape were good.
Medium-bodied white wine with fair acidity delivered a bit of oak, apple, citrus, and floral flavors.
Finished long with orange zest, ginger, and a well-balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my fried pork gyoza, chicken egg roll, and fried brine chicken.
