Round Pond Rutherford~Napa Valley 2015 Sauvignon Blanc

Round Pond Rutherford~Napa Valley 2015 Sauvignon Blanc, $20.99-$24.99, 93 points, poured a lovely light primary gold color with a tertiary green cast.
Fresh cut grass/hay aromas accented by soft tangerine, Lychee, and floral notes were outstanding.
Light, crisp, appropriately acidic, refreshing, luscious, and with aroma-reflective flavors plus a hint of pear, managed a very generous white wine.
Finished long on the trailing palate, good minerality, invigorating ginger notes, and a well-integrated 14.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my Maine lobster-pie.

    1. VG: A little pricy, but I'd recommend this SB for those looking for a bit more complexity and sophistication, cost figured-in.
