Tommasi Viticoltori Tenuta Filodora DOC Prosecco, $14.53-$18.99, 92 points, begins in the glass gray with copper tones.
Aromatic to the extreme with fizzy almond, toasty malt and sea breezes.
The light-plus body drinks almost like a light ale (foamiest and smooth), but retains all the freshness of a typically crisp Prosecco. Flavors mirror the aroma.
Finishes long with a hint of ginger.
With a Maine lobster busting acidity, this is a wine that should be sold at the fish-market.

Sounds yummy!
ReplyDeleteVinogirl, maybe the most interesting of the Prosecco wines I've tasted; I sure would love to hear from you if you get a chance to taste this one?
