Prosecco (Italian Dry, Extra Dry, and Brut White Sparkling Wine)

Prosecco (Italian Dry, Extra Dry, and Brut Sparkling White Wine) is made from the Glera grape or is otherwise known as the Prosecco grape, but usually has a frizzante style (slightly effervescent) rather than the "explosive" carbonation of Champagne, most beers, or even a soda.

The following is my list of reviewed Prosecco wines. This list is intended to be convenient and comparative, but it is also an attempt to accommodate smart phones users.
As any work in progress, this list is incomplete, but just let me say that almost any Prosecco between the price of $7-$17 is a value, but I do have my favorites, with scores between 85 and 92 points and costs between $7 and $24, there is room for opinion to play a role in buying a Prosecco sparkling white wine, but availability is another factor, with all wines reviewed bought at the New Hampshire State Liquor Stores unless otherwise noted.
As a side note, I've made reference to my lack of enthusiasm for Champagne, and my delight in Prosecco; the reason is simple, value and consistency. Now almost two and a half years after writing this post I've found that others have found a similar opinion: Winetimes: Prosecco replaces Champagne as worlds favourite-sparkling wine.
