Fess Parker Estates Epiphany Revelation Rodney's Vineyard 2012 Red Wine, $30.99-$34.99, 88+ points, was a deep maroon grading purple/red and finally fire-red at the clear wine ring and glass bowl.
Aromas were soft hints of sandalwood, blueberry, roses, and slightly saline black olive.
Full-bodied with good acidity, appropriately supportive tannin, and flavors reflective of the aromas with cola notes.
Finished well with truffle notes, warm spices, and a balanced 14.9% alcohol.
Varietals were 46% Syrah, 45% Grenache and 9% Petite Sirah.
