Miguel Torres Celeste Crianza 2012 Ribera del Duero Red Wine, $15.99-$18.99, 87 points, was a deep maroon trending lipstick-red at the broad clear wine ring.
Aromatic blueberry, toasty blackberry, tobacco, and soft floral notes were good.
Near full-bodied with good acidity and appropriately firm tannin managed well, flavors reflective of the aromas.
Finished long on pomegranate, blueberry, warm spice, and a balanced 14% alcohol.
Paired okay with my meaty lasagna.
