Aromas were earthy, herbal, and nuanced with chocolate and juniper.
A full-bodied red wine with good acidity and a mellow underlayment of tannin.
Flavors were a bit plumy with red raspberry and cherry cola.
Finished long and tangy on the red fruit, marjoram, and a seemingly subdued 15.5% alcohol.
Paired fine with my cheese enchiladas.
