Domaine J. A. Ferret 2017 Pouilly Fuissé, $28.04-$34.99, 90 points, was a medium yellow/gold color.
The apple aromas dominated hints of wood, Chardonnay specific grape, a floral vibe, and redolent mountain streams (quite good).
More than a medium-bodied white wine, well balanced with good acidity and flavors reflective of the aromas (near perfect oak notes).
Finished long on the fading palate with a hint of peach and a spot-on 13.5% alcohol.
Paired well our Thanksgiving type of cuisine.
