Château Godeau Saint Émilion Grand Cru 2009 Bordeaux Red Wine

Château Godeau Saint Émilion Grand Cru 2009 Bordeaux Red Wine, $31.44-$36.99, 92 points, has a true Bordeaux-red color with a violet hue, and a transparent rim.
The aroma has a lovely gentle perfume quality, with sweet earth and lightly spiced.
A medium body has strong acids and noticeable tannin.
With good flavors of juicy boysenberry, blackberry, damson plum, with hints of licorice and eucalyptus, this Bordeaux trails incredibly long on spice.
Quality is here, Price is still an issue, and the ratio is to be determined by you, the wine lover; the wine lover in me says yes!

  1. Met a nice girl from Bordeaux last week, hope this wine was as nice for you as she was. See you soon, Den. What did you pair this with, by the way ?

    1. Ben, nice is nice;-)
Paired this with nothing, it was a meal in itself. I couldn't wait to get home from work and taste her again.
