Atamisque Mendoza Valle De Uco 2020 Malbec, $23.99-$32.99, 93 points, poured broadly black with a deep purple/red penumbra, fat stained-legs, and clear meniscus.
The earthy aromas of loam and mushrooms were nuanced with blueberry, mulberry, a floral perfume, and was quite herbal.
As expected, this Malbec was chewy, dense with texture and flavors, showed juicy, moderately acidic, and with a supportive underlayment of tannin.
Finished long, revealed great depth of character and appropriate flavors of the bouquet, spicy, and with a well-balanced 14.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my grass-fed rib eye.
If you want to taste a superior Malbec, I recommend this one.
