Bergström "Old Stones" Willamette Valley 2021 Chardonnay, $35.19-$43.99, 94 points, was a very light yellow-gold color and transitioned water clear midway towards the rim.
Aromas of lemon/lime, orange zest, white pepper, and a hint of mint leaf were bright and refreshing.
This medium-bodied Pouilly Fuissé styled Chardonnay showed clean, good acidity, crisp minerality, and tasty citrus notes; an extremely pairable Chardonnay!
Finished long on the trailing palate, ginger, and an amazingly restrained 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with our fried chicken.
