Guinigi 2018 Brunello Montalcino

Guinigi 2018 Brunello Montalcino, $49.99-$59.99, 93 points, poured a brandy-red with a broad clear meniscus and fat sticky legs.
The complex and lovely aromas were that of fig jam, raisins, caramel, and black cherries.
Guinigi delivered to me a medium-bodied, bone-dry, appropriately tannic, and spicy red wine with brandy notes nuanced with a lean cherry and cayenne pepper.
Finished long on the trailing palate, a hint of iron, and a warm spice-infused 14.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my spice-rubbed rib eye.
