Due Torri Delle Venezie 2010 Pinot Grigio, $6.79-$10.99, 87 points, is an inexpensive, food friendly, refreshing, one dimensional white wine of Northwest Italy. I don't know about you, but the word that best describe this kind of wine is "Easy": easy to drink, easy on the descriptors, and unlike the Brunello Montalcino wines, it is easy on my wallet.
The color is light lemon/lime with a tint of gold.
The aroma is faint apple and kiwi.
The medium body is smooth and carries light flavors of pear and apple, but finishes long and okay with ginger spice.
