alma rosa Santa Rita Hills 2007 Pinot Noir

alma rosa Santa Rita Hills 2007 Pinot Noir, $19.59-$25.99, 90 points, has a cranberry color and a clear rim.
The aroma is an earthy-grape.
A medium body carries good acidity and background tannin.
This wine is silky smooth with a blend of spices, flavors of cranberry and cherry, all of which concludes on a long finish.
Not  a complex wine, but delicious and for about $20, not a disappointment.

  1. We went to this winery in January. Great wine! It was one of our favorite stops in Santa Barbara.

    1. Claire, first it was Paso Robles, now Santa Barbara! All these suggestions are going to help the Ca. economy! I hope the Chamber of commerce gives you a case of your favorite wine. ;-)

    2. It was all the same trip. We spent 2 days in Santa Barbara. We prefer Paso, of course, but it was cool!

      No free wine. Boo.
