SCV Freestone Hills Sonoma Coast 2010 Pinot Noir, $24.99-$34.99, 90 points, appeared dark pomegranate with a broad clear rim.
Bits and pieces of smells like earth, black cherry, coffee, cedar, and sweaty socks made-up a good, but rather muddled aroma (I'm not trying to be negative here).
A medium-plus body was rich, had fair acidity with mild tannin.
Flavors of plum, coffee, and black cherry were harmonious and tasty.
Finished on a juicy trailing palate with a hint of green wood, a touch of spice, and well integrated 14.1% alcohol.
