Joseph Carr 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, $16.14-$21.99, 85 points, poured inky black grading a deep purple/red with maroon flashes, a clear wine ring, and moderate sheeting.
Plum, cedar, grapy notes, a hint of lavender and coffee aromas were okay.
Full/smooth body managed fair acidity, soft tannin, and flavors reflective of the aromas adding hints of tobacco and thick black licorice flavors.
Finished on the trailing palate, a bit plumy, and an innocuous 14.1% alcohol.
