Gran Passione D.O.C.G. 2014 Gavi, $11.89-$13.99, 87 points, was a light brass color trending clear at the glass edge.
Aromas of cold temperature floral tangerine with a hint of honeydew melon were good.
Light-bodied and good acidity managed a more distinctive flavor profile than some Gavi wines I've tasted, with flavors reflective of the aromas, black pepper, and hints of ginger.
Finished on the trailing palate, a hint of watermelon, and just a trace of the 12% alcohol.
