Stratus 2010 Cabernet Franc (Canada), $25.49-$29.99, 87 points, poured purple/red grading a dark pomegranate red toward the clear wine ring.
Smells of slightly sweet red raspberry, black currant, and violets were good.
Full-bodied with fair acidity and mellow, yet supportive, tannins managed flavors rich in black currant, plum, cola notes, and a hint of mint.
Finished okay on the trailing, a bit chalky with some easy spiciness and an innocuous 13.5% alcohol.
