Château Faugères, Saint-Émilion, Grand Cru Classé 2014 Bordeaux Red Wine

Château Faugères, Saint-Émilion, Grand Cru Classé 2014 Bordeaux Red Wine, $33.14-$38.99, 92 points, poured broadly black with flashes of ruby, sizeable bleeding clear rim, and a lightly sheeted bowl.
Aromas of black fruit, hint of cedar, earth, chocolate, and a floral vibe were good.
Full-bodied with appropriate acidity and a comfortable spread of tannin managed to unfurl the flavors reflective of the aromas onto the palate with a blanket of plum.
Finished long on the trailing palate, warm spices, well-balanced 14% alcohol nuanced with hints of pomegranate, iron, and citrus.
Paired perfectly with my Peruvian asparagus covered with Portabella mushrooms in a savory beef sauce.
