Kuentz-Bas Alsace 2015 White Wine, $15.99-$18.99, 86 points, was a pale yellow color.
Aromatically nondescript with scarcely a hint of pome fruit and their blossoms.
Light-bodied with good acidity and a faint straight-forward apple cider flavor.
Finished fair on the trailing palate with a balanced 13% alcohol, soft ginger ale flavor, and little else.
Varietals were 50% Sylvaner, 30% Muscat, and 20% Auxerrois (oh-sehr-WAH).
Paired fine with my Maryland crab-cakes and baked North Atlantic sea scallops.
